Slim and the South Street Hustle

Philadelphia Slim is a bluesman and harmonica player who has spent the better part of a decade honing his craft in the spirit of Chicago, Southern, and West Coast blues masters like Little Walter, Sonny Boy Williamson, Junior Wells, Big Walter, Carey Bell, Slim Harpo, George “Harmonica” Smith, and many more.  

After years fronting Slim & the Perkolators and a year touring with Billy the Kid & The Regulators, Slim is now leading his own band: The South Street Hustle! He has honed his craft and is taking the blues to the next level.

Slim was a 2020 International Blues Challenge semifinalist and a 2020 Blues Blast Music Awards Debut Album of the Year nominee.  He is now backed by the South Street Hustle, featuring some of the best young professional blues musicians in the Mid-Atlantic region. Their house rockin’ style of harmonica-driven blues will light stages on fire as this band takes the country by storm!
